Brewers Cruise Past Rays in Lopsided October Affair

It was a one-game MLB slate on October 26, and the Milwaukee Brewers made it a memorable one. Traveling to Tampa Bay, the Brewers put on an offensive show, rolling past the Rays by a final score of 10-1. The lopsided result left little drama on the field, as Milwaukee controlled the game from start to finish and handed Tampa Bay a tough home loss to close out the day.

The XO Sports model called this one correctly, projecting Milwaukee as the winner on the road. The model had the final score closer than it turned out, predicting a 5-4 Brewers edge, but the direction of the pick proved right as Milwaukee pulled away convincingly. With a win probability sitting just above 50 percent, it was not a high-confidence projection, but the model still found the right side of a game that ended in a blowout. A solid result for the XO model on a short October slate.
