XO Model Goes 10-1 on a Wild NFL Sunday

The NFL delivered plenty of fireworks on October 11th across a 13-game slate. The Jacksonville Jaguars held off the Philadelphia Eagles 19-17 in a tight London opener, while New England stunned Las Vegas 45-17 and Detroit demolished Arizona 45-21 in the day’s most lopsided results. Houston dominated Tennessee 26-3, Green Bay crushed Chicago 31-7, and San Francisco edged Seattle 32-29 in a late thriller. The day’s strangest result came in Washington, where the Commanders and Giants played to a 27-27 tie, leaving both teams and both models without a winner. Cincinnati topped Miami 31-24, Denver took down the Chargers 23-17, and Pittsburgh handled Indianapolis 34-22 to round out a busy afternoon.

The XO Sports model had one of its stronger days of the season, finishing 10-1-1 across all 13 games. The lone miss came on the Jets-Browns game, where Cleveland was picked to win but New York held on 17-12. The Commanders-Giants tie counted as a push. All four top picks, Jacksonville, Cincinnati, Houston, and Miami, hit correctly, with the Texans pick carrying the highest confidence at 68.6%. The model also caught Green Bay and San Francisco beating the sportsbook consensus, adding extra value on a Sunday where sharp calls outpaced the market.
